What: In our effort to continue to help each athlete develop, we will be offering a combination of our 3v3 League and Skills. A portion of each session will have a skills academy built in so players can work on positional development. Then, using our 3v3 league, athletes will be able to play small sided games, allowing them to incorporate technical and tactical skills, while getting a lot of touches! We will be using box goalies and all athletes will use short sticks.
We will follow a "pick up" model, where each week athletes will be on different teams, allowing them to compete against, and play with different players. This has been a popular league the last few winters and we believe the shortened field, in conjunction with fewer players on the field at once, allows for optimum performance and engagement.
For our field goalies, you are welcome to play as a field player during this league, or you can register for our goalie training on Sundays, which is the same cost as the league. Here is the link for goalies to register:https://4leaflax.sportngin.com/register/form/761850236 .
